ZERO stars - Worst counter clerk experience EVER!

This review involves my experience as a park and ride client a the hotel. I did not use their lodging just booked a place to park my vehicle ewhile away on a trip. The overnight clerk, whose name was Kara, was the most despicable customer service individual I have encountered in life, and I am 66 years old. I arrived at 545am, and there was no one at the counter, just a few hotel guests milling about the lobby. With my plane departure time getting ever closer, this Kara finally shows up around 605am, not even an apology for my wait, then proceeds to berate me for entering the wrong arrival time on my reservation (I inadvertently punched in a noon arrival my bad). Her attitude and demeanor was so off putting so I simply asked, "have I upset you in any way?" in a calm voice. At that point she screams at me that she is cancelling my reservation and orders me to leave. I ask if I will be given a refund (the fee was prepaid), she refuses to answer and just keeps screaming "LEAVE!". A young security guard shows up out of nowhere and says the authorities will be called unless I leave immediately. I stand my ground and keep asking the same question, and her reply is the same as she is getting louder and more bellicose. This, all in full view of other hotel patrons watching this entire spectacle. I walk out into the parking lot. At this point my flight is 40 minutes from departure, so I make the instant decision to just leave my vehicle there and walk over to the terminal ( I use this park and ride all the time because it is steps from the airport and no need to bother with the shuttle). The next day I call the hotel and speak to the gentleman in charge of the parking. He apologizes for what happened, and from the way he sounded, was already all too familiar with the antics and behavior of this Kara who apparently has bullied other patrons in the same manor. My vehicle was there and intact upon my return, although during my time away I can admit I was stressed as to something that my happen and if my car would be towed or vandalized. Fortunately no issues and I received my value for the fee I paid. I will be emailing the hotel, but as for now, have no plans to patronize them again especially if this hideous woman is still in their employ. To anyone reading this, be forewarned.

Bad Place to Stay

Stay somewhere else. The hotel is being used to house asylum seekers. It’s more like a very run down apartment building in New York City then a luxury hotel in Buffalo. Kids running up and down the halls. It smells bad because of migrants cooking in their rooms.

Poor conditions, chaotic

From the moment I checked in, I saw that this hotel was housing immigrants, sent up from New York City. The children were unruly and running around. And the lobby was just chaotic with caseworkers, and said immigrants. And there was also security added to this hotel. (Which didn't appear to be doing their job, they had airbuds in their ears, and on their phones) There were numerous other guests, trying to rebook in a different hotel. When we checked out the next morning, I nearly hit 3 small children who were in the parking lot.My return reservation for August 5th was canceled on me,by Choice Hotels. They said they were closed For the month of August for renovations period when I looked at their website. They are fully booked for an entire year, It says , so they lied to me. The rooms were definitely in poor condition, but I am sure that housekeeping is overwhelmed with the chaos. I guess luckily for others, They won't book anyone for the next year, so you won't have to deal with it.... Do better Choice Hotels

I came for business. The lady at the front desk had no clue what she was doing. She gave me a room that was disgusting and filled with garbage and wet towels. So I carried my bags to the front desk and asked for another room. She gave me a new room on the other end of the building. I get to that room and it also has garbage all over it. The chairs were all ripped up, and there were layers and layers of dust everywhere like it had never been cleaned before. I go down to the desk again. At this point, I'm getting annoyed because I'm carrying my heavy suitcases all around the hotel after driving hours to get there. She apologizes again. Gives me a new room. It's disgusting, but I figured at this point, it's not going to get any better. I was expecting a call to my room phone, and the front desk had no clue how to work the phone system. Then, later that night, a party broke out in the room across the hall. At 3 am the police came and kicked them out. I ended up getting no sleep and staying in disgusting filth. I could have gotten a better night's sleep had I just slept in my car. Avoid.

Worst customer experience of my life, this hotel should be out of business

Worst customer experience of my life, had the police called on me when I went to check in and I had prepaid… the only person working saw that I was coming in with bags looked at me and walked right by me, got into the shuttle bus and left. Moments before he had been blasting music in the parking lot and dancing in a sexual nature with his girlfriend, who was there hanging out . Apparently he drives the shuttle bus and mans the front desk. When he returned about a half an hour later, I was the first in line of four customers waiting to check in and when he asked parking or check in, I said check in and although I was annoyed, I was not abusive, he looked at me, decided he didn’t like how I was talking to him and said next please I said, sir, I’m just trying to check in. I pre-paid for my room and I started to get a little bit upset, but at no point was I over the line abusive… I was just trying to engage with him and he was blatantly ignoring me, at that point he decided to call the police and I told him what have I done wrong. I’m just trying to check in for a room I paid for. I waited for the police and tried to talk it over with them, but they told me that there was nothing they could do and that he could ask me to leave for any reason so I had to leave and I had to rebook a new hotel for twice the price (the Hilton) and I am out the money- they never refunded me and Priceline refused to help me, I had to pay over $100 for a hotel room and I never even got past the lobby, and every time I tried to reach out to management they hung up the phone on me. I never did find out who owns or runs this hell hole. I can understand, not wanting to be abused by a customer, but I never got to the point of abusing him when he wouldn’t even talk to me, although I was upset, I was respectful and I can’t believe he wouldn’t even listen or help me… i’ve never been treated so poorly in my life by a hotel.
